We met on New Year’s Eve 2024, during a small dinner at a boarding house. At the time, Marsya was staying there for her internship, while Oka—the landlord’s son—had just returned home from Africa. It was a simple encounter in a place that unknowingly brought our paths together, marking the very beginning of our story.

In March 2025, with sincerity and hope, Oka met Marsya’s father in Batam to ask for his blessing and to express his heartfelt intentions.

Our engagement was an intimate and meaningful moment, shared only with our closest family. Oka’s family traveled from Besuki to Jakarta, where we shared honest conversations and warm prayers as we spoke about our future and wedding plans.

In March 2026, we plan to unite in marriage at Masjid Nabawi in Madinah—a place deeply cherished in Marsya’s heart. With love and gratitude, we hope our beloved family and friends can join us in celebrating this sacred and joyful beginning.
